Zinedine Zidane has insisted that he is unconcerned by speculation suggesting his position at Real Madrid was under threat.

The Frenchman, despite his side being second in La Liga, came in for heavy criticism following Real's 3-0 defeat to Paris Saint-Germain last week.

Reports have claimed that Jose Mourinho, whom Real president Florentino Perez is said to still admire, has been lined up as Zidane's replacement.

When asked about his position at the Bernabeu ahead of Wednesday's clash with Osasuna, Zidane told Marca: "When we lose, I'm out and when we win, I'm in.

"I don't think about it, it's like that. We have to think about matches and I'm only interested in that."

Former captain Iker Casillas and current skipper Sergio Ramos made it clear that they were fully behind Zidane earlier this week.

Zidane, who spent five seasons playing for Madrid, became the first modern manager to win the Champions League three times in a row as Real boss between 2016 and 2018.
