Joey Barton has reportedly arrived at Ibrox for talks over his Rangers future.
The 34-year-old has not played for the Scottish giants since their 5-1 defeat to Celtic in September, which sparked a training-ground bust-up with teammate Andy Halliday.
The altercation led to Barton receiving a three-week suspension, but the experienced midfielder has not been present at Rangers' training ground since the incident with Halliday took place.
It is understood that Barton is unlikely to appear in a Rangers shirt again and according to Sky Sports News, he has arrived at Ibrox to discuss a compensation package, having only signed a two-year contract in the summer.
Barton has made eight appearances for Rangers this season.
