Maurizio Zamparini: 'Paulo Dybala will leave'

Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini says that it is "clear" Paulo Dybala will be sold by the club at the end of the season.

Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini has confirmed that star striker Paulo Dybala will leave the club in the summer.

The 21-year-old has scored 12 goals in Serie A for the Rosanero this season and has been linked with a number of Europe's biggest teams.

Zamparini has admitted that this will be Dybala's last campaign in Sicily and he also expects his teammate Franco Vazquez to find a new club when the transfer window reopens.

"It's clear that Paulo will leave," Zamparini told Sky Sport Italia. "In fact, we're looking for another striker, as we only have [Andrea] Belotti at the moment.

"The team is out of form, the midfield is less aggressive and Vazquez is out of form too.

"Next year Palermo will have to play without Vazquez and Dybala, so I'd like to see other players [come in]."

Dybala has scored 20 goals for Palermo since his arrival from Argentine club Instituto de Cordoba in July 2012.
