Mansfield Town to mark League Two return with Scunthorpe clash

Mansfield to face Scunthorpe in League Two

The League Two 2013-14 fixtures are announced, with Mansfield Town due to take on Scunthorpe United in the opening weekend.

Mansfield Town will kick off their return to the Football League with a clash against Scunthorpe United on August 3.

The League Two fixtures for the 2013-14 campaign have been released, with Portsmouth beginning their season with a home match against Oxford United.

Newly-promoted outfit Newport, who have been away from the Football League for 25 years, will take on Accrington Stanley on home turf, while Bury, who were relegated from League One will host Chesterfield.

Playoff finalists Northampton Town are scheduled to play York on the opening weekend of the season, while a West Country derby between Exeter and Bristol Rovers will mark the start of the new League Two campaign.
