Roy Keane says that the current group of Manchester United players will cost Ole Gunnar Solskjaer his job as head coach.

Roy Keane has said that the current group of Manchester United players will get Ole Gunnar Solskjaer the sack.

The Red Devils recorded an emphatic 5-0 win over RB Leipzig in the Champions League on Wednesday night but were brought crashing back down to earth in the Premier League by Arsenal on Sunday afternoon.

A Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang penalty ultimately decided the contest at Old Trafford, but the Gunners were in control for the majority of the 90 minutes.

United are 15th in the Premier League table with just seven points to show from their opening six matches of the campaign, and Keane has claimed that the current group of players will contribute to his former teammate losing his position as head coach.

"Ole will lose his job working with this group of players - that's what is going to happen," Keane told Sky Sports News after the clash in Manchester.

Mauricio Pochettino, who remains available despite leaving Tottenham Hotspur almost a year ago, continues to be linked with the managerial position at the club.
