Manchester United's Wayne Rooney "disappointed not to win"

Manchester United skipper Wayne Rooney believes that his team deserved to claim all three points from their 1-1 draw with Leicester City.

Wayne Rooney has admitted that he was "disappointed" by his side's failure to collect maximum points from their home encounter against champions elect Leicester City this afternoon.

Anthony Martial put the hosting Red Devils in front early on, but they were soon pegged back by Leicester skipper Wes Morgan.

However, Rooney has insisted that United's display was worthy of more than a 1-1 draw.

"We're disappointed not to win. We played some good stuff and I felt we were the better team," the captain told MUTV.

Next up for United is a trip to relegation-threatened Norwich City.
