European giants Real Madrid, Barcelona and Juventus will all be banned from the Champions League this week, according to a report.

European giants Real Madrid, Barcelona and Juventus will all be banned from the Champions League this week, according to a report.

Both FIFA and UEFA last week opened disciplinary proceeding against all three teams, who have yet to renounce the European Super League.

According to Italian outlet La Repubblica, Real, Barca and Juve will all be punished with fines and Champions League bans some time this week.

Meanwhile, the other nine clubs – AC Milan, Inter Milan, Atletico Madrid, Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur – will all pay around £12.9m to FIFA, which will be distributed to grassroots football.

La Liga president and UEFA Executive Committee member Javier Tebas has said that Real, Barca and Juve should be 'scared' of FIFA's final decision and giving each club a ban from Europe's elite competitions is possible.

Barcelona president Joan Laporta has vowed to take FIFA to the Court of Arbitration for Sport if they are punished for their participation in the formation of the European Super League.
