Man City's Sergio Aguero left out Argentina squad for World Cup qualifiers

Argentina coach Gerardo Martino does not include Sergio Aguero in his squad for next month's 2018 World Cup qualifiers as the Manchester City star remains injured.

Manchester City star Sergio Aguero has not been included in Gerardo Martino's Argentina squad for upcoming 2018 World Cup qualifiers against Brazil and Colombia.

The 27-year-old has been on the treatment table since suffering a hamstring injury while playing for his country against Ecuador earlier this month.

The prolific striker had hoped to return in time to represent Argentina in November, but it appears as though he is still some way off fitness as he has not been included in Martino's latest squad, according to the Manchester Evening News.

Without Aguero, City managed to gain a point in the Manchester derby following a goalless draw at Old Trafford on Sunday.
