Liverpool winger Raheem Sterling out of Tottenham Hotspur clash?

Liverpool winger Raheem Sterling is reportedly ruled out of his side's encounter with Spurs due to a foot injury.

Liverpool winger Raheem Sterling has reportedly been ruled out of tonight's clash with Tottenham Hotspur due to a foot injury.

The 20-year-old suffered a knock during his side's goalless draw with local rivals Everton on Saturday.

He is now expected to sit out this evening's encounter at Anfield, according to BBC Sport.

Reds manager Brendan Rodgers revealed on Monday that Sterling had recently been offered an "incredible" contract extension by the club.

However, with Chelsea and Real Madrid both understood to be monitoring the youngster, his future on Merseyside remains unclear.
