Leeds United have ended Nottingham Forest's unbeaten start to the season with a 2-1 win at Elland Road this afternoon.
The hosts took the lead in the 14th minute when El-Hadji Diouf's cross was stabbed back across goal by Sam Byram, allowing Luciano Becchio to convert.
Becchio turned from goalscorer into provider 10 minutes later when his persistence resulted in the ball falling to Dominic Poleon, who lashed home his first goal for Leeds.
The hosts almost extended their lead even further when Byram's cross found Becchio, but the striker blazed his shot over the bar.
Forest pulled a goal back just before the hour mark when Dexter Blackstock headed in from inside the six-yard box after a long throw-in.
They couldn't find an equaliser to save their unbeaten run, however, as Leeds claimed all three points.
