Germany's Lukas Podolski claims that meeting England in the semi-finals of Euro 2012 would be "no problem".

Lukas Podolski has claimed that it would be "no problem" for Germany if they have to face England in the semi-finals of Euro 2012.

The Germans booked their place in the last four on Friday night with a comfortable 4-2 win over Greece.

Podolski and his temmates will now await the outcome of England's encounter with Italy on Sunday to see who they will be playing for a place in the final.

"Maybe it could be against England next and, if that's the case, then of course it's no problem," the 26-year-old told The Independent. "Now we want the final."

The former Cologne forward recently agreed a deal to join Arsenal for next season.
