Fulham have settled for a no score draw away to Croatian side RNK Split in the first leg of their third round Europa League qualifier.
Martin Jol's squad failed to break through without the services of Clint Dempsey, who has just returned from Gold Cup duty.
RNK had the best chance early on in the first half, when Ante Erceg sent the ball wide.
The visitors had two bookings after unfair challenges from Dickson Etuhu and Steve Sidwell.
The second leg is next Thursday, August 4 at Craven Cottage.
