Fabio Capello is due to meet the FA following the fall-out from the England manager's comments regarding John Terry.

England manager Fabio Capello is expected to hold crisis talks with Football Association chairman David Bernstein following his comments regarding John Terry.

The Italian coach sparked controversy after he publicly hit out at the governing body for dropping Chelsea defender Terry from the England captaincy.

The former Real Madrid boss believes that the 31-year-old should retain his place as the Three Lions skipper as he has yet to stand trial on allegations of racially abusing Queens Park Rangers defender Anton Ferdinand.

Reports have claimed that Bernstein is standing firm on the decision to remove the national armband from Terry.

Capello's reaction to his bosses has caused some to suggest that the 65-year-old could be sacked from his post before the European Championships this summer.

The meeting has been set up for the two parties to attempt to smooth over any disagreements. However, reports have claimed that there is a slight possibility that Capello could be axed at the end of today's discussions.
