Sam Allardyce has emerged as a target to take over the manager's job at Crystal Palace, according to reports.
The Eagles currently sit just one point above the Premier League's bottom three with eight defeats in their last 10 matches after losing to leaders Chelsea on Saturday.
Manager Alan Pardew admitted after their win over Southampton earlier this month that the owners are unhappy about the club's poor form, but that chairman Steve Parish has been fighting his corner.
However, The Mirror believes that Palace are keen on Allardyce, who is available and has a proven track record of helping teams survive relegation.
The 62-year-old, who helped Sunderland beat the drop last season, has been out of work since leaving the England post in September.
