Corinthians have won the Brasileiro on seven occasions, with their last success coming in 2017, but they were fourth in the final table last season, some 16 points behind the champions Palmeiras.

The Great Team has found it difficult to show consistency in the early stages of this campaign, boasting a record of three wins, three draws and six defeats from 12 matches, which has left them in 15th on 12 points.

Vanderlei Luxemburgo's side were last in Brasileiro action on June 24, suffering a 1-0 defeat to Athletico Paranaense, but they returned to winning ways last time out, beating Liverpool 3-0 in the Copa Libertadores.

Corinthians have won two of their last three matches in all competitions, as they also recorded a 2-0 victory over Santos in the league on June 22, so their form appears to be picking up at a vital stage of the campaign.

Time do Povo are also unbeaten at home in the Brasileiro this season, winning two and drawing three of their five matches, collecting nine points in the process, while Bragantino are yet to triumph on their travels.

Bragantino are the form team entering this match, though, having been victorious in each of their last three matches, including their last two in the league against Flamengo and Goias.

Braga also recorded a 7-1 win over Tacuary in the Copa Sudamericana last time out, which stretched their unbeaten run in all competitions to five matches.

Pedro Caixinha's side have actually only lost once in any competition since the end of April, so they will be confident heading into this weekend's contest with Corinthians.

Bragantino finished 14th in the Brasileiro last season, but they currently sit in seventh position in the table, boasting 20 points from their opening 12 matches.

Caixinha's side are only actually three points behind second-placed Gremio at this stage of proceedings, while they sit 10 behind the leaders Botafogo, who have 30 points from their opening 12 games.

We say: Corinthians 1-1 Bragantino

Bragantino will enter this match in excellent form, but Corinthians are yet to lose at home in the Brasileiro this season, while Bragantino are yet to triumph on their travels. As a result, we have had to settle on a low-scoring draw, which would not be the worst result for either side.
