Inter Milan striker Romelu Lukaku is supposedly open to a Premier League return amid links with Chelsea and Manchester City.

Inter Milan striker Romelu Lukaku could be open to a return to the Premier League amid links with former club Chelsea, according to a report.

Despite leading Antonio Conte's men to the Serie A crown with 21 goals and nine assists from 33 top-flight matches this term, Lukaku's future with the Nerazzurri is far from certain.

Chelsea spent big to secure the signatures of Timo Werner and Kai Havertz last summer, but Thomas Tuchel supposedly wants to strike a deal for another big-name frontman before the 2021-22 season.

Lukaku has been persistently linked with a move back to Stamford Bridge, and according to reports in Spain, the Belgium international would be happy to return to England's top flight after conquering Italy.

The report adds that it would take a bid of €90m (£77.3m) for Chelsea to re-sign the 27-year-old, who failed to score in 15 appearances for the Blues before signing for Everton in 2014.

Manchester City have also been linked with a swoop for Lukaku, whose deal with Inter does not expire until the summer of 2024.
