Jose Mourinho: 'No club can dominate in the Premier League'

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho claims that it is impossible for one club to dominate over an extended period in the Premier League.

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has insisted that there is no chance of a club dominating the Premier League over the next few years.

Mourinho's side are on course to clinch the title in comfortable fashion this season, but he believes that the likes of Arsenal and Manchester United will come back strongly to prevent the league from becoming too predictable.

"At this moment, it's very difficult in the Premier League for a team to be dominant," he told reporters. "This is not Germany with Bayern [Munich]. This is not Switzerland with Basle. This is not Scotland with Celtic.

"Arsenal have a phenomenal squad. Thierry Henry said they need four top-class players. Give Arsenal four top-class players and I think they will again be the Invincibles.

"Man United have a phenomenal squad, including the most expensive player in the history of the Premier League, who is not playing. They are a club where Financial Fair Play doesn't make a huge difference for them and they will invest hugely again in the summer."

Chelsea can move a step closer to the title against Leicester City on Wednesday night.
