Roberto Di Matteo states that Chelsea will not give up in the race to finish fourth.

Chelsea manager Roberto Di Matteo has said that his side will not give up in the race to finish fourth in the Premier League.

The Blues, who lost 2-0 to Newcastle United last night, are now four points adrift of the final Champions League spot with two league games remaining this season. However, the Italian insists that his side will still fight.

"We have a good squad," he said. "The effort is there and we have asked them to push and push.

"We will regroup, pick them up and we're going to go again. The season has proven difficult but we will keep pushing and we won't give up.

"We look forward to the FA Cup final. It's a great event."

Chelsea take on Liverpool in the FA Cup final this weekend.
