Chelsea's Cesc Fabregas 'expected to be fit for West Bromwich Albion clash'

Chelsea are reportedly expecting Cesc Fabregas to be fit enough to face West Bromwich Albion next weekend.

Chelsea are reportedly expecting Cesc Fabregas to be passed fit for next weekend's Premier League clash with West Bromwich Albion, despite the Spaniard suffering an injury on international duty.

The midfielder left the national team to return to London after experiencing discomfort in his hamstring muscles, but scans have shown that there is no serious damage, according to the Daily Mail.

Fabregas will miss Spain's Euro 2016 qualifier against Belarus and the international friendly against Germany to allow him time to rest up ahead of the West Brom showdown.

His fellow Spaniard Diego Costa has also been left out of both matches at the request of Blues boss Jose Mourinho, who insisted that the striker needs time to recuperate from recent injuries.
