Celtic are considering a move for Newcastle United pair Conor Newton and Paul Dummett, according to the players' agent.
Both Newton and Dummett have attracted suitors after impressing during a loan spell at St Mirren last season, and their agent Simon Downey has revealed that the SPL champions could be interested in taking them to Celtic Park.
Downey told the Shields Gazette: "They have both made a massive impact up in Scotland.
"St Mirren are really keen to keep them, but there has been interest from other clubs, including Celtic.
"Celtic are one of those clubs who if you do well against them, they keep an eye on you."
Both players are out of contract at Newcastle in the summer, but they have been offered new deals.
