Bolton Wanderers boss Neil Lennon open to Celtic return

Bolton Wanderers boss Neil Lennon admits that he would return to Celtic "without question".

Bolton Wanderers boss Neil Lennon has admitted that he is open to the possibility of one day returning to former club Celtic.

The Trotters manager said that he still feels an affinity to the Glasgow giants, but is unsure whether a comeback will ever happen.

"There's no question I would go back," he told BBC Sport.

"I'm not saying it will ever happen, but if the opportunity came along and I was ready for it, I wouldn't have any hesitation. There is a huge part of me that will always have an affinity with the club.

"It was tumultuous, it was exciting, it was breathtaking at times, it was everything you wanted it to be. There were feelings that you will probably never replicate again in your life."

Lennon won three consecutive league titles and guided Celtic to the knockout stages of the Champions League during his tenure.
