Arsene Wenger sends backlash warning to Manchester City

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger expects his side to return to form when they face Manchester City at the Emirates next Sunday.

Arsene Wenger has warned Manchester City that his Arsenal side are ready to deliver a backlash after the disappointing loss to Queens Park Rangers.

The Gunners suffered a 2-1 loss to their London rivals on Saturday but Wenger believes that his side will react in a positive fashion when they face Roberto Mancini's team next Sunday.

The Frenchman said: "It's a good opportunity to put things right again, of course.

"I believe that we will see a different Arsenal on Sunday but I can tell you as well that it will be needed.

"We know how to respond, as we have been exposed to this situation before this season."

Arsenal currently occupy third position in the Premier League.
