Mikel Arteta says that Arsenal's recent performances are "not good enough".

Arsenal midfielder Mike Arteta has described the team's recent performances as "not good enough".

The Gunners are currently seventh in the Premier League table after their goalless draw with Bolton Wanderers on Wednesday.

Arsene Wenger's side have now managed only one win in their last six games.

"We had a lot of chances to win the game at Bolton, but once again we've not been good enough to take them, and if you don't take your chances it's always going to be difficult," said Arteta.

"It's not good enough. We really need to start picking up points now. We've lost too many in the last two weeks."

Arsenal host Blackburn Rovers in the league on Saturday.
