Hasan Ali Kaldirim confident of beating Arsenal

Fenerbahce defender Hasan Ali Kaldirim believes that his side are confident of overcoming Arsenal in their Champions League qualifier.

Fenerbahce defender Hasan Ali Kaldirim has claimed that his side are confident of beating Arsenal in their Champions League qualifier.

The two clubs meet in Turkey on Wednesday evening to battle it out in the first leg of the playoff tie.

"We are Fenerbahce and Arsenal is not the same team before," Goal.com quotes Kaldirim as saying.

"They are not that good in defense but they play in a high tempo and can pass the ball very accurately. It's going to be a hard match-up but we are confident."

Fenerbahce finished in second place behind champions Galatasaray in last season's Super Lig.
