Sam Allardyce bemoans "same old story" for West Ham United

West Ham United manager Sam Allardyce bemoans his team's performance in today's 1-0 defeat against West Bromwich Albion at The Hawthorns.

West Ham United manager Sam Allardyce has bemoaned his team's performance in today's 1-0 defeat against West Bromwich Albion in the Premier League.

An early goal from Saido Berahino at The Hawthorns gave the Baggies a 1-0 victory, condemning the Hammers to their fourth straight league defeat.

Allardyce told reporters after the game: "It's the same old story for us. We are striving to convert these chances but we've got to be more clinical. It's a massive because of us losing four of the trot, not taking chances.

"We should have being going in leading at half time and I was really disappointed with how we defended their goal. We can't find a finish right now and we're paying a very heavy price for OK performances.

"We've put ourselves in a very difficult position with Tottenham at home and Manchester City away still to come."

West Ham currently occupy 14th place in the Premier League table.
