Felipe Anderson on target twice for Lazio at Torino

Lazio win five Serie A games in a row for the first time since October 2010 with a 2-0 triumph at Torino.

Felipe Anderson scored a second-half brace as Lazio cemented their place in Serie A's top three with victory at Torino this evening.

It was a slow start at the Stadio Olimpico, with the first real chance not arriving until the 20-minute mark when Lazio's Marco Parolo was denied by Daniele Padelli in the Torino goal.

The closest the hosts came to a goal in the opening period was in the 29th minute when Amauri's firm header was beaten away by Federico Marchetti.

It was much of the same in the second half until Lazio broke the deadlock with 20 minutes remaining through Anderson's individual effort as he found the bottom corner after surging forward from midfield.

Matteo Darmian almost levelled proceedings soon after at the other end, but Anderson would have the final say in the 78th minute when his shot took a deflection and looped into the net.

After going 12 games unbeaten, Torino have now lost two in a row and miss out on the chance to move up to seventh.

Lazio, meanwhile, have won five league games in a row for the first time since October 2010.
