Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's Ligue 1 fixtures, including Montpellier vs. Monaco.

Rock-bottom Montpellier HSC will look to begin a miraculous escape from relegation when they welcome Monaco to the Stade de la Mosson in Ligue 1 on Friday.

Neither side has been in great form recently, but Monaco have just about clung onto their spot in the top three for the time being.

We say: Montpellier HSC 0-2 Monaco

It looks as though nothing will save Montpellier from this point, because not even home advantage aided them in a must-win clash last week.

Monaco have been out of sorts themselves, but they have only lost eight of their 61 meetings against Montpellier in Ligue 1, and the gap between the clubs has never been larger.

Lille vs. Nice (Friday, 8.05pm)

In one of the standout matches in Ligue 1 this weekend, top-four battlers Lille and Nice face off at the Stade Pierre-Mauroy on Friday night.

Nice leapfrogged Lille into the Champions League places last weekend, taking advantage of some underwhelming form from Les Dogues of late.

We say: Lille 1-1 Nice

Two unstoppable forces in Ligue 1 meet here, with Lille unbeaten in 20 games, and Nice in the best of form of any club not named Paris Saint-Germain in the division.

Neither side will be content with a cagey encounter, but there is very little to separate the two, so yet another draw in this fixture is on the cards.
