Marco Borriello makes a quick recovery from a sprained ankle injury to take to the Genoa bench against Napoli at home this afternoon.

Marco Borriello is among the Genoa substitutes against Napoli at the Marassi this afternoon.

The striker was initially ruled out for six weeks with a sprained ankle, but has made a surprise recovery.

Juan Camilo Zuniga is the only absentee for Napoli, who will continue to start with Goran Pandev and Edinson Cavani in attack, supported by Marek Hamsik.

There were fears that the match would be called off because of the weather in the city of Genoa, but it was eventually given the go-ahead.

Genoa: Frey; Sampirisi, Granqvist, Moretti, Antonelli; Canini, Toszer, Kucka; Bertolacci, Immobile, Jankovic

Napoli: De Sanctis; Campagnaro, Cannavaro, Gamberini; Maggio, Behrami, Dzemaili, Dossena; Hamsik; Pandev, Cavani
