Everton could battle Tottenham Hotspur for Chelsea's Kurt Zouma this summer, according to a report.

Everton are reportedly preparing to rival Tottenham Hotspur for the signature of Chelsea centre-back Kurt Zouma during this summer's transfer window.

Spurs have allegedly identified the 25-year-old as a potential signing, with head coach Jose Mourinho said to be eyeing a reunion with the Frenchman.

However, according to The Express, Everton are also interested in a permanent deal for Zouma, who spent the 2018-19 campaign on loan at Goodison Park, making 32 Premier League appearances.

The report claims that the Toffees could make another loan move, although Carlo Ancelotti's side would also allegedly be open to discussing a swap deal for the defender.

Zouma has made 33 appearances at club level during the 2019-20 campaign but lost his regular spot in the first XI in the early stages of 2020.

The former Saint-Etienne youngster has a contract at Stamford Bridge until June 2023.
