Christian Abbiati insists that he and Adriano Galliani have a "special relationship" that has not been fractured because of the AC Milan CEO's displeasure with his performance on Sunday.

AC Milan goalkeeper Christian Abbiati has insisted that he holds no grudge against Adriano Galliani for insulting him during their 2-2 draw with Napoli in Serie A on Sunday.

The Rossoneri CEO was caught on television cameras expressing his displeasure at Abbiati after he allowed Gokhan Inler's shot to go past him in the fourth minute.

"As far as I am concerned, nothing has happened," the goalkeeper told Mediaset. "I didn't even know about it until Galliani phoned me.

"I know that Galliani loves me and we have a special relationship. He told me that it was all forgotten after just a second."

Milan are currently 12th in Serie A with 15 points from 13 matches.
