AC Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri says that his team are making too many mistakes, but was pleased with how they came back from two goals down against Napoli.

Massimiliano Allegri has said that his AC Milan team could have snatched all three points against Napoli after battling back from two goals down at the Stadio San Paolo.

Stephan El Shaarawy took his tally to eight goals this season with a brace, cancelling out Gokhan Inler and Lorenzo Insigne's first-half strikes.

The 45-year-old coach admitted that his team are still making far too many mistakes, but was pleased with how his side reacted.

"We ran a few too many risks on some occasions, but we also created a lot of chances towards the end," Football Italia quotes Allegri as saying. "With Mbaye Niang and Antonio Nocerino being a little sharper, we could even have won it.

"We have to grow up, as we still make far too many mistakes on an individual level. This is a team that must mature and learn from the errors as well as its position in the table.

"The point is deserved considering the way we played and the intensity on the field."

The Rossoneri lie 10th in Serie A.
