Maria Sharapova's second-round Wimbledon clash with Tsvetana Pironkova was suspended in the second set due to poor lighting conditions.
The Russian top seed took the first set through a tie-break after encountering fierce resistance from her Bulgarian opponent.
Pironkova matched Sharapova for long spells, and broke her serve in the second game, but the tournament favourite soon hit back and went on to take the tie break 7-3.
Sharapova looked more like her old self in the second set, breaking her opponent early on.
It was the Russian who appeared more concerned that the match would be called off when the poor lighting conditions began to take hold as 9pm approached.
The umpire suspended play at 9.02pm.
