Leigh Centurions have confirmed the signings of Salford Red Devils pair Cory Paterson and Reni Maitua for the 2016 Championship season.
Second-row Paterson scored seven tries in 17 appearances for Hull Kingston Rovers in 2013, before the Australian returned to Super League with Salford this season, where he scored 10 tries in 21 matches.
Versatile forward Maitua, who has one cap for Australia, made five appearances for the Red Devils on loan from Championship side Featherstone Rovers this season.
Speaking to the club's website, head coach Paul Rowley said: "I am delighted to welcome Cory to the club and look forward to not only working with him but also listening to his thoughts and ideas on how best to achieve high standards.
"Reni is a great player who will add versatility and strike to our squad. I am looking forward to him joining the team and being a part of another successful year for the Centurions."
Leigh are also reportedly close to completing the signings of Salford's Rangi Chase and Harrison Hansen, who have been granted free transfers by their current club.
According to The Express, both players could join the Championship outfit for the 2016 season.
Chase won the Super League Man of Steel award in 2011.
