Striker Asamoah Gyan has refused to commit his future to Sunderland after reported interest from Galatasaray.
Unlike many European countries, the Turkish transfer window does not close until midnight tonight, meaning a move for the 25-year-old is still possible.
The Super Lig club were believed to be keen on signing the centre-forward before he joined the Black Cats in 2010 and Gyan has welcomed their renewed interest.
"I heard the news like everyone, before I came to England, there was a transfer bid from a Turkish club and I choose to come here," he told Sky Sports News while on international duty with Ghana.
"I am flattered by their interest but like I said it is up to Sunderland.
"I am at Sunderland, if they accept a bid from any club, I will have to speak to that club, as you know I am preparing for a game against Brazil and not thinking about any transfer."
Gyan scored ten Premier League goals for Steve Bruce's side last season.
