West Ham United are reportedly considering a deadline-day swoop for Tottenham Hotspur striker Fernando Llorente.

West Ham United are said to be considering a late move for Tottenham Hotspur striker Fernando Llorente.

The 33-year-old has been linked with the exit door this summer following a campaign in which he made just 10 starts in all competitions for Mauricio Pochettino's side.

Spurs are thought to be willing to let the Spaniard go for a fee of around £7m as they look for funds to make their own signings, accepting a loss on the £15m they paid for him a year ago.

According to the Daily Mail, the Hammers are now weighing up an 11th-hour bid for Llorente, who would fill in for the injured Andy Carroll.

Manuel Pellegrini's side have been one of the most active in the Premier League this summer, spending around £90m on an array of players including Felipe Anderson, Andriy Yarmolenko and Issa Diop.
