West Ham United midfielder Pedro Obiang is reportedly close to re-joining Sampdoria in a £10m deal.
Obiang moved to West Ham from Samp in the summer of 2015, and has made 87 appearances in all competitions for the Hammers over the last three seasons.
Speculation linking the midfielder with a return to Italy has gathered pace over the last week, however, and according to Sky Sports News, the 26-year-old is now on the verge of leaving West Ham.
Obiang was a regular for the Hammers in the first half of the 2017-18 campaign, but a knee problem saw the former Spain Under-21 international miss a lot of football in the second half of the season.
West Ham have signed seven new players in this summer's transfer window, with Felipe Anderson, Issa Diop, Andriy Yarmolenko, Lukasz Fabianski, Fabian Balbuena, Ryan Fredericks and Jack Wilshere all arriving at the London Stadium following Manuel Pellegrini's appointment.
