Tottenham Hotspur 'monitoring FC Zurich's Loris Benito'

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly scouting Swiss left-back Loris Benito with a view to signing the FC Zurich star.

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly keeping a close eye on FC Zurich's young left-back Loris Benito, who could be available for as little as £3m at the end of the season.

Benito, a Swiss Under-21 international was recommended to the Lilywhites by former defender Ramon Vega, and The Mirror claims that scouts from the North London club have already watched the player.

However, it is thought that Tottenham may face competition in their pursuit of the left-back, with Italian champions Juventus also said to be interested in the youngster.

Spurs' own push for a European place was boosted after they thrashed Premier League strugglers Sunderland 5-1 on Monday night.
