Schalke 04 club officials will reportedly fly to England this week to hold further talks with Tottenham Hotspur regarding a potential move for Rafael van der Vaart.

The Bundesliga outfit are said to be willing to pay £8m for the Dutch playmaker, while Spurs chairman Daniel Levy is believed to value the player at £12m.
