Tottenham Hotspur will reportedly hand new manager Andre Villas-Boas £70m to spend in this summer's transfer window.

The former Chelsea boss is expected to be announced as Harry Redknapp's successor this week after lengthy talks with the club's hierarchy.

It is understood that Spurs are willing to give the Portuguese coach up to £70m to spend on new players with the 34-year-old keen to bring in two strikers, a creative midfielder and a goalkeeper, according to Goal.com.
