Gareth Bale committed to Tottenham Hotspur?

Tottenham Hotspur winger Gareth Bale is "happy to stay at the club for now", according to a source close to the player.

Tottenham Hotspur winger Gareth Bale is reportedly happy to stay at White Hart Lane for at least one more season.

The 22-year-old Wales international, who joined Spurs from Southampton in 2007, is believed to have attracted interest from Manchester United and Barcelona this summer.

The Mirror quotes a source close to Bale as saying: "Gareth believes Tottenham were unlucky not to get into the Champions League after finishing fourth and is happy to stay at the club for now.

"The chairman obviously has plans that did not involve Harry Redknapp and Gareth wants to find out what those are."

Bale made 36 Premier League appearances last season, scoring nine goals.
