Barcelona want to bring Tottenham Hotspur attacker Giovani Lo Celso to Camp Nou this summer, according to a report.

Barcelona are reportedly keen to bring Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Giovani Lo Celso to Camp Nou during this summer's transfer window.

The 25-year-old, who helped Argentina win this summer's Copa America, has scored seven times and registered four assists in 65 appearances for Spurs in all competitions.

According to Fichajes, Barcelona have identified the South American as a transfer target despite their financial problems.

The report claims that Ronald Koeman's side are desperate to add another central midfielder, having missed out on Netherlands international Georginio Wijnaldum to Paris Saint-Germain.

Lo Celso missed a spell of last season with a hamstring problem but still featured on 28 occasions for his North London club, scoring five times and contributing one assist in the process.

The versatile midfielder, who impressed in La Liga during a previous spell with Real Betis, still has four years left to run on his contract at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
