Tottenham Hotspur will reportedly set a new Premier League attendance record when they take on Bournemouth this weekend.

Tottenham Hotspur will reportedly break the Premier League attendance record, which has stood for a decade, when they take on Bournemouth at Wembley Stadium this weekend.

According to the Daily Mail, ticket sales for the match are nearing the current record of 76,098, set when Manchester United beat Blackburn Rovers 4-1 at Old Trafford in March 2007.

Only five of Wembley's 158 sections are said to have limited seats still available, although total ticket sales are expected to fall short of the club record of 85,512 that Spurs set when they took on Bayer Leverkusen at their temporary home in the Champions League last season.

Spurs neared the league record when 73,587 watched their 2-1 defeat by Chelsea in August, but the club are reportedly on course to go one better against the struggling Cherries.
