Spurs boss Harry Redknapp cannot understand why Blackburn fans were protesting against their own manager during his side's 2-1 at Ewood Park.

Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp has said that he doesn't understand why Blackburn Rovers fans were protesting against boss Steve Kean during his side's 2-1 win at Ewood Park.

Two goals from Rafael van der Vaart secured the three points for Redknapp's side, but the 63-year-old believes that Blackburn performed to their maximum potential.

"We were 1-0 up and we were in control of the game, and suddenly they (Blackburn) got the equaliser and came at us strongly," he told Sky Sports News. "In the end we were hanging out there as they put us under severe pressure.

"I saw they (supporters) were demonstrating but I don't know what they were demonstrating against. They (the players) couldn't have given anything more than they did today."

The win has kept Spurs in fifth place in the Premier League table, while Blackburn have slumped to the bottom of the pile.
