Under-pressure manager Steve Kean has declared himself pleased with the way that his side played during their 2-1 loss at home to Tottenham Hotspur this afternoon.
The defeat, which has seen Kean's side fall to the bottom of the table, once again sparked Rovers supporters to call for the manager to lose his job.
"Spurs scored against the run of play," the 44-year-old told Sky Sports News. "I think that the way we started the game was excellent.
"We created so many chances, we created problems for Spurs from set-plays, we had possession and we went wide well.
"What we now have got to do is analyse the game and pat ourselves on the back for our performance today."
Next up for Rovers is a trip to Norwich City on Saturday afternoon.
