Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino insists that he is "happy" at the club amid reports linking him to Real Madrid.

Mauricio Pochettino has reiterated that he is content with life as Tottenham Hotspur manager, despite regularly being linked with Real Madrid.

The Argentine has been at the helm of the North London club since 2014 following his switch from Southampton.

In that time, the 45-year-old has transformed the team into genuine title contenders, having guided them to third and second respectively in the past two seasons.

On Tuesday, Spurs will face Italian heavyweights Juventus in the first leg of a Champions League last-16 tie in Turin, and during the manager's press conference, attention soon turned to his future.

While facing the media, Pochettino told reporters: "I am in football after two, three years, I am conscious about the sport. I know very well the business.

"I know very well how it's working and of course I am so focused on Tottenham, trying to give our best, like always I said what is going to happen in the future, only I can tell you that we have three years more in our contract at Tottenham and I am happy here.

"I am so excited to be here for nearly four years now, developing a very nice project and I think we have a very nice project ahead."

Reports have claimed that the Tottenham hierarchy are confident that the manager will stay put.
