Ian McShane makes Ross County switch

Ross County sign midfielder Ian McShane from Queen of the South on a three-year contract.

Ross County have confirmed the signing of midfielder Ian McShane from Queen of the South.

McShane, 22, has penned a three-year contract at the Global Energy Stadium.

The Scottish Premiership outfit released 12 players from their squad last week.

"I am very delighted to get Ian on board at the club and he brings with him a great deal of footballing qualities and experience which will blend very well into the team," manager Jim McIntyre is quoted as saying by the club's official website.

Ross County finished the season in ninth place in the table.
