Real Madrid team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Osasuna

Sports Mole rounds up Real Madrid's injury and suspension news ahead of their La Liga clash with Osasuna.

Real Madrid will be looking to make it four wins in a row when they resume their La Liga campaign at home to Osasuna on Saturday afternoon.

Carlo Ancelotti's side recorded a 3-0 victory over Girona in the league last weekend, and they are currently top of the table, boasting 21 points from their opening eight matches.

Los Blancos will also enter this match off the back of an impressive win in Europe, beating Napoli 3-2 in the Champions League on Tuesday night.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Real Madrid's injury and suspension news ahead of their clash with Osasuna, who sit 10th in Spain's top flight.

Eder Militao

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

Militao recently underwent surgery on the ACL injury that he suffered in the team's season opener, and the defender is unlikely to be available for selection until the 2024-25 campaign.

Courtois also underwent an operation on an ACL injury earlier this season, and the goalkeeper faces a battle to be available before the end of the campaign.

Status: Out
Type of injury: Thigh
Possible return date: Unknown

Guler had recently been back in training after recovering from a knee injury, but he has now suffered a fresh thigh issue, which is expected to keep him out until the end of October.

David Alaba

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Groin
Possible return date: October 7 (vs. Osasuna)

Alaba had to be replaced in the first half of the clash with Las Palmas last week after picking up a groin injury, which saw him miss out against Girona and Napoli, and he remains a major doubt here.

Nacho

Status: Out
Possible return date: October 24 (vs. Braga)
