Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed that Luka Modric will be available for next month's El Clasico against rivals Barcelona.
The Croatian, who has recently returned to training following a three-month layoff with a thigh injury, will play no part in today's encounter against Elche.
However, Ancelotti has revealed that the 29-year-old is recovering well and will be fit to face Barca.
"He is doing well [and] he is feeling good. He has worked with us since Thursday. He still has not had a full session with the team but he will next week," he told the club's official website.
"I think that he will be ready by [the Barcelona match] and we hope to be able to select him before then."
Madrid travel to the Camp Nou for a potential La Liga title decider on March 22.
