Rayo Vallecano leave it late to beat Mallorca

Rayo Vallecano score two late goals to beat Mallorca.

Rayo Vallecano have beaten Mallorca 2-0 courtesy of two late goals from Leo Carrilho and Andrija Delibasic.

The first chance of the match fell to Jose Carlos for Vallecano, but he could not find the target with his strike.

It was all the home side and midway through the half Alejandro Dominguez and then Javi Fuego both missed the target. Michael Pereira shot wide before Victor Casadesus headed over the bar for Mallorca just before the break.

Ten minutes into the second half Pereira had another effort and this time forced the home goalkeeper David Cobeno into a save.

Vallecano started to press for the winner and three minutes from time Leo Carrilho finally found the net for the hosts.

Then Carillho set up Delibasic in the final minute to assure Vallecano of the points.
