Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea has reportedly been left out of Spain's World Cup squad.
The Spaniard has made 45 appearances for his national team since making his debut in an international friendly against El Salvador in June 2014.
However, he has fallen down the pecking order under Luis Enrique, and as a result, he has not featured for his country in over two years.
According to The Mirror, De Gea will miss the World Cup in Qatar after being omitted from Enrique's provisional 55-man squad.
Although the list has not been made public, the report claims that De Gea is not one of the five goalkeepers that have been selected.
Athletic Bilbao's Unai Simon and Robert Sanchez are believed to be included, while Chelsea's Kepa Arrizabalaga and Getafe's David Soria are also understood to be on the list.
